Christian Hedegaard is the senior pastor and founder of Powerhouse Church, born in Denmark, married to Karen Hedegaard (1988) and the father of four children.

 

Christian and Karen Hedegaard started their marriage hitch hiking around the world, Christian was into business and Karen was a journalist, but everything changed when their three year old daughter suffered a stroke. At this point they started seeking God for their lives which kicked off the ministry they walk in today.

 

Christian Hedegaard went to bible school which was life changing. He got delivered from nine evil spirits and started full-time ministry in 1996, publishing his first book "Conquering Demons",which is his personal testimony,  translated into five languages. 

 

After 15 years of ministry in Denmark, traveling all over the world preaching the gospel in more than 60 nations, God gave the Hedegaards a calling to the United States to start a work amongst the homeless in Orlando. In December 2013 they established Powerhouse Church on Orange Blossom Trail, downtown Orlando. The church is open six days a week serving food and providing clothes, showers, healthcare  and legal help for people in need.

Christian and Karen Hedegaard will be teaching on healing, body, soul and spirit, based on life experiences, including what they have learned in this season, on the road to healing, going through the valley of the shadows of death.
